Students will be evaluated on their design decisions, creativity, and look and feel of the prototype, playability, and overall fun.   <description>&lt;strong&gt;Location:&lt;/strong&gt; Minneapolis, Minnesota&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;URL:&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.browncollege.edu/&quot;&gt;http://www.browncollege.edu/&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Description:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&#9;&lt;p&gt;Provide fully prepared current instruction that meets desired learning outcomes, academic advising and career related counseling to students; actively engage in retention activities; identify and assist at-risk students, and provide support for program and institutional initiatives. &lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&#9;&lt;p&gt;•Teach courses per the college’s approved, standard course syllabus as assigned by the responsible Department Chair or Director of Education up to the maximum number of contact hours allowed by current accreditation&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Prepare all materials for instructional use and present subject matter using appropriate and effective teaching techniques&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Inform students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance requirements&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Maintain necessary attendance, scholastic, and student records, and submit them according to published guidelines&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Establish assessment procedures and define student outcomes with approved criteria to measure individual student progress&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Maintain and publish regular office hours per college policy&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Actively engage in retention activities including documented communication with both students and administration regarding attendance and academic progress&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Assist students with registration and academic advice&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Work with the &lt;span class=&quot;caps&quot;&gt;DOE&lt;/span&gt; and department chairs to resolve student issues and concerns&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Adhere to and publicly support Academy policies and procedures, included but not limited to the faculty handbook, and catalog&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Participate in all Academic Faculty meetings, in-service workshops, college-wide meetings, events, and campus committees as identified&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Required Skills &lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Minimum of four years relevant design industry experience&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Prefer two years of post-secondary teaching experience&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Required Experience &lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Demonstrated competency in the application of design theory through print or electronic portfolio&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•A Masters Degree in design, or fine art with emphasis in graphic design, is required. &lt;br /&gt;&#10;•“C-Sharp” or other related programming language&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•HLSL graphics programming language&lt;br /&gt;&#10;•Strong knowledge of “Unity” game engine&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.gamejobhunter.com/job/1460/part-time-instructor-game-design-brown-college-at-brown-college/&quot;&gt;Apply to this job&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>
