CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, the Corporate Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing outbound communications programs to broaden visibility of the Trion World Network and its products. This role will work closely with both gaming and consumer media to generate awareness for Trion’s games through strategic PR programs, both domestically and globally.
The position requires a commitment to innovation, excellent understanding of the technology and media industries and demonstrable success in managing and executing PR programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing, coordinating and managing specific public relations campaigns and related activities that sustain a specific image for our core games and cultivates media support for products.
• Communicating and responding to all media inquires in a timely manner.
• Writing and pitching press releases.
• Work closely with marketing and development on key messages for all outgoing communications
• Working closely with internal departments to create and maintain press kits and related materials.
• Maintaining and expanding relationships with a broad range of media.
• Managing and growing media database.
• Planning and executing PR activities such as product launches, press tours, and tradeshows/conferences.
• Working closely with outside PR agencies and consultants.
REQUIREMENTS
• 5 years experience in the interactive entertainment industry
• Experience with online entertainment
• Established relationships with console and PC gaming press
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PLUSES
• Bachelors Degree is a plus
