Professor of Game Design
SCAD Hong Kong seeks candidates for full-time faculty positions in game development beginning in the fall of 2010. Qualified candidates should have the terminal degree or its equivalent in game development or an advanced degree and a minimum of three years experience in the game industry. Candidates should be able to teach in at least three or more of the following areas: C++, Java, database design, game engine scripting, game design, game design theory, level design. Familiarity with game prototyping tools, character and environment modeling and methods is advantageous. Experience with one or more shipping game titles is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with college-level teaching experience, proven leadership skills and ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds.
