Virtual World Programming Intern – Java

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the team to develop fun, creative and interactive virtual worlds

• Assist with programming and design in a variety of different languages

Qualifications:

• Must be a major in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with Java
• Experience with 3D Programming APIs like DirectX and OpenGL
• Experience in object-oriented design and implementation
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Self-starters who are eager to learn and can work with others in a team-oriented environment as well as independently

• A passion for creating and playing video games

Bonus:

• Experience with Flash including interactive components of Flash
• Experience with multithreaded processing
• Experience with Apple, Objective C, or iPhone development
• Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices

• Agile development experience
