Black Lantern Studios is searching for an experienced Producer to join our team in Springfield, MO. This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of developing games with a heavy emphasis on communication and organization.

Job duties include, but aren’t limited to:

• Facilitate a development team of designers, programmers and artists to successfully deliver new products on time and on budget
• Contribute to the vision of a game, and ensure that the vision is upheld through the production process
• Help define milestone dates and requirements for the project
• Work with project leads to create and prioritize a detailed task schedule that correctly accounts for milestone requirements, dependencies, and other constraints
• Work with project leads to track and analyze progress; identify project risks and help create solutions
• Act as the point of contact for publishers and other external parties as necessary
• Manage and participate in internal reviews and facilitate external reviews of documentation, assets, and playable builds

• Communicate feedback and change request information to appropriate parties

The following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least one (1) year of leadership experience in the game industry
• Experience working start to finish on five (5) or more shipped titles
• Experience working as a producer or project manager in a related field
• Experience managing multiple projects in concurrent development
• Proven specialization in a specific area of game development (art, programming, design)
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Project
• Ability to create and manage detailed schedules
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The Producer is a full-time, exempt level position; pay is dependent upon experience.
