Manager, Channel Marketing
Overview of Role
The Manager, Channel Marketing, reports directly to the Director of Channel Marketing, The Americas. The Manager will be responsible for driving partner marketing initiatives with wireless carriers, app stores, and new platforms. Working closely with the publishing organization, this individual will also be responsible for driving ROI-driven marketing campaigns tied to partner support.
This role is both strategic and executional in scope, requiring a dynamic individual who is comfortable juggling a number of time-sensitive deliverables and projects. This person should have a background in the mobile and/or social gaming space, possess stellar marketing and business skills, and be able to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
This role requires some travel.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Marketing and Promotions
• Drive productive marketing partnerships with carriers, new app store and platforms.
• Develop marketing programs from concept to execution, and communicate results to internal team and external partners.
• Work in partnership with the product marketing team to execute channel-drive programs as part of go-to-market strategies and pushing core catalog titles.
• Prepare channel marketing plans on specific titles/channels to support the product franchise plans.
• Assist Channel Marketing Director in overall planning and take on responsibilities for ad hoc projects.
• Review and run brand and licensor approvals on marketing and advertising creatives – related to TV advertising, print, direct mail, and online.
• Develop and execute partner activities at major tradeshows/conferences.
Account Management
• Drive strategic partnerships and activities with wireless carriers, new app stores and platforms.
• Apply best practices and key learnings in partner marketing and promotional initiatives.
• Work with partners and internal publishing team to ensure successful product launches, promotion of core titles, and advancement of new smartphone/platform initiatives.
Planning & Analysis
• Develop marketing calendar, go-to marketing strategies and promotions by channel.
• Forecast sales potential of marketing programs, and deliver post-mortem analysis, making strategic recommendations to improve marketing ROI.
• Prepare and present monthly summaries that highlight channel marketing wins, learnings, and opportunities.
• Develop and pitch presentations to internal publishing team and external partners.
Professional Qualifications
Requirements:
• Strong analysis skills required.
• Ability to partner across functions
• Minimum 4-8 years relevant work experience
• Background in consumer marketing and advertising
• BS/BA required. MBA preferred.
• Understanding of marketing, promotions, and pricing strategies
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation & communication skills
• The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision
• Experience in the interactive entertainment/video games industry preferred.
• Effective time management and work prioritization skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel required.

• Entrepreneurial spirit and instinct for driving revenue
