Summary :
The candidate is responsible for the overall vision in terms of Graphics (textures, models, lighting, composition) The candidate must be capable of leading a team of tools programmers and managing them to execute the overall vision.
Within the framework of the development of a real-time "pipeline" for the film and game projects, the candidate will be an essential part of the decision-making team and will have the opportunity to develop new modules to meet the needs of film and game projects for the next generation of consoles.

Responsibilities :
-Understand the overall 3D requirements resulting from the needs analysis of artists in terms of development and technical feasibility
-Be a mentor for new employees
-Participate in performance reviews in collaboration with the Pipeline Director
-Analyze the existing 3D functionalities in the engine and make the appropriate changes
-Propose improvements
-Collaborate with the Technical Director(s) to establish the 3D requirements and technical decisions
-Suggest improvements and innovations
-Validate and verify if the 3D systems recently developed meet the specific and general needs of the project and do not create conflicts with the already existing code.
-Perform need optimization
-Support the features and the systems created for the production
-Determine and correct 3D computing problems identified by the team and the quality control department
-Provide proper documentation
-Approximately 80% Analysis, conception and programming, 20% Management
-Perform all other related tasks

Education :
Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent

Experience :
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in 3D real-time programming

Technical Skills:
-Excellent knowledge of all visual aspects required in film and video games.

-Working knowledge of .Net Framework
-Knowledge of Direct X and/or OpenGL
-Knowledge of Shader Model ¾ (HLSL programming language)
-Working knowledge of Assembler
-Excellent Knowledge of current generation video game platforms
-Knowledge of game engines (commercial or open source) is an asset
